The DP700 is the latest DRO to hit the market, from the highly reputable Newall Measurement Systems Ltd. With intuitive use as a key design element, a DRO couldn't be any easier to use than the DP700.
The DP700 is a powerful and feature-packed DRO display, housed in an ergonomically designed slim-line aluminum case. When we started the development of this product, our aim was to create a DRO that featured all of the essential functions for all machining applications, but at the same time provided the operators with an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
As soon as you start using the DP700, you will notice the message screen has been added. This makes it is considerably more intuitive and easier to use than the C80. The intuitive design allows the user to customize the feature-set they will use. If a user will not be using a specific feature they can simply turn it off and it will not show up in the operating menu. Your customers can make the DP700 as simple or as feature rich as they desire.
Some of the functions featured on the DP700 include:
- Zero Approach
- Tool Offsets
- Bolt Hole Circle
- Arc Contouring
- Polar Co-ordinates
- Line Hole
- Programmable Memory
- Feed-Rate Display
- Linear and Segmented Error Compensation
- RS232 Output
- Undo Function
As you will notice, the DP700 includes all of the features that were available on our C80 DRO’s and then some. The DRO is also compatible with Newall’s renowned SpherosynTM and MicrosynTM encoders.
For those of you who would like to integrate the DRO display into a control panel, the DP700 is also available in a panel-mount version. An O-ring seal is included to keep out contaminates.
A DRO with this power that supports the market leading Spherosyn and Microsyn encoders, makes choosing a DRO effortless.
We are very excited about the new DP700 and believe it to be the most versatile and user friendly DRO available. Just what you would expect from Newall!
